2008 Parade Application

Sunday, April 27 at 2:30 P.M.

 Parade Rules

1. 1. All vehicles must be clean and in good operating condition.
   2. Animal entries must be under the control of a handler at all times.  It was voted last year to allow horses in the parade. Please have your horse under control and bring a pooper scooper.
   3. 4 X 4 vehicles and vehicles with customized hydraulics are not permitted.
   4. Politicians may not distribute literature to the crowd.
   5. Business entries are welcomed as long as their entry focuses on the parade theme rather than a specific business.  Float, characters, special interest entries and other business sponsored entries are encouraged.
   6. Special requests for locations in the line up will be considered when requested in advance.  We honor special requests whenever possible.
   7. Inclement weather is prohibited.
   8. Pre-registration is required, and must be received by the entry deadline of April 20, 2008.
   9. For the safety of the children, candy and other items may NOT be thrown from parade entries.  You may have people walk alongside and distribute these items by hand.
   10. Response letters will be mailed one week prior to the parade.
   11. Please return a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your entry.
